After a long night filled with amazing ceremonies, heartfelt testimonies, great music, exciting games, and heated competitions, that's the award that CASLV received bright and early at 6:00 am on Saturday, April 21 at Relay for Life UNLV. Amid a total of 1,033 participants and 73 teams, Team CASLV brought in the most funds, a whopping $3,281. The event brought in over $64,000 which will go directly to the American Cancer Society. |
Our students have shown great performance at the 2012 Beal Bank USA Southern Nevada Regional Science & Engineering Fair. Coral Academy of Science Students have won 19 different placements and made us all proud. Their success was celebrated and awarded with a special dinner following a dinner at UNLV on Thursday April 19th, 2012.
Please come out and join us for our 4th annual Around the World Festival on Saturday, April 28 from 11 am - 3 pm. The event will be at the Sandy Ridge Campus, 1051 Sandy Ridge Ave., Henderson, NV 89052. Enjoy delicious food, fun games, and exciting cultural performances.
On March 23, 2012, 11 High School projects were submitted to the UNLV for the regional competition. Our students’ projects were received with great success. Seven projects out of eleven received medals.
Every year, the committee chooses two Sweepstakes Winner projects to represent Nevada in Intel-ISEF Science Project Competition. This year, our students projects were chosen to represent Nevada in the Intel-ISEF Competition in Pittsburg (all expenses covered by the sponsors).

CASLV AMSP team got third place in MATHCOUNTS State Finals on March 10,2012. MathCounts is one of major math events for middle school students in United States. We congratulate our students and hope to see them in MathCounts Nationals in the years to come. |
