Open Houses
Admission Information Sessions are designed to provide students and parents with more details on the curriculum, enrichment activities, sports, expectations and admissions process. All Coral campuses host Open Houses during the early winter to provide these details.

Click on Admissions links at the right side of the page under Quick Links for further information.

There has been a change to our lottery on March 1st. On that date, the lottery will be held for Kindergarten, middle and high-school only. All on-line applications for those grades received before Noon on February 28 will be included in the lottery.

We will be holding the lottery for grades 1-5 at a later date that has yet to be determined. There are a few decisions that need to be made before we will have final enrollment numbers for these grades for the 2013/2014 school year. On-line applications for grades 1-5 will be accepted up until the date before the lottery for those grades, and all will be included. We are anticipating this lottery to be held in May. Once a date has been set, we will inform the parents by email and post it on the website.

Robotics Team wins a 1st place award at Southern Nevada Regional Championship

The Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Robotics Team has won a 1st place award at the Southern Nevada FIRST Lego League Championship for two years in a row! The team followed up their win in Project Presentation last year with a win in Teamwork this past Saturday, besting 46 other teams for 1st place. All the results can be found on the http://firstnv.org/ website.

CASLV sent two teams of 4th and 5th graders to the championship this year: The Legendary League of Lightning Lego (Team 11927) and the S.T.O.R.C.K.s: The Super Team of Really Cool Kids (Team 13255). The team members of 11927 are Ahmad Qazi, Alena Gandy, Annabelle Chu, Andrew Hwang, Brandon Gong, Dylan Phung, Elizabeth Wigington, Gavin Mack, and Joshua Lum. The team members of 13255 are Charles Cosby, Dawson Ferrell-Walker, Sterling Goolsby, Cody Hargreaves, Jeff Lobe, and Duelin Saijin.

All the children worked incredibly hard this season, putting in very long hours with their coaches, Andrew Lindstrum (11927) and Alicia Goolsby (13255). Students worked for 5-7 hours a week after school and on Saturdays for 3 months to prepare for this competition. Please join us in congratulating them for their efforts this year!
